FYI for students

IT150 students, this blog is designed for you.
Here’re several things you can do to take advantage of the educational value of this blog:
Read!
1. Subscribe to email alerts here.
2. Subscribe to this blog, using free subscriptors such as Google Reader.
2. If you have your own website or personalized homepage, subscribe to this blog’s RSS feed so you can see the latest updates on your own site. You can also subscribe to comments through the comments feed.
And, write!
1. Leave comments. When you respond to a posting, you’re not only organizing your thoughts through writing, you are also helping other students by engaging in dynamic discussions with the professor.
2. Contribute. If you have an idea for a posting, send it to the professor for consideration.
3. Write your own blog! Start a blog (at www.wordpress.com or any other blogging site), keep track of your ideas, insights, questions, and coursework. Over time you will accumulate enough writing and work samples to impress potential employers.

I would like to do all that which you have described in IT150 student bog, but I ready don’t have the time with a husband and two children. One of the main reasons why I am taking online classes is to try to maintain a balance between my work, school, and family life without going crazy.
