Zoe was a savvy world traveler. When she was finishing up her adventure in India and getting ready to go home sweet home, she did all the right things. She checked in online 24 hours prior to departure. She arrived in the airport 3 hours of departure. And she checked her bags with the counter attendants, and printed her boarding pass at a self-serving kiosks. She spent an hour going through security checks, and arrived at the gate 45 minutes prior to departure. She waited 15 minutes in line trying to board the flight, only to be told at the gate that, the flight was, well, full. There was no seat for her. Yes, she had a boarding pass, and no, she didn’t have a seat.
